Но я считаю, что мне есть чему поучиться у других авторов. Поэтому играть почаще даже с профессиональной точки зрения было бы полезно. У тебя есть любимые новеллы? Я почти ничего не знаю про шумерскую мифологию, а тут сразу столько всего. Столько имён сложных. Словом, всех люблю, все молодцы.
А свою «Теодору» проходишь? Я прохожу на тестировании. Но это не происходит так, что я села с чаёчком и прохожу. Это похоже больше на «Ошибка! Здесь баг! Здесь не тот костюм!
Здесь забыли поправить! Наверно, когда я закончу работу над новеллой, тогда сяду и буду наслаждаться этим произведением. Я периодически встречаю обсуждения фаворитов «Клуба Романтики». У меня в «Теодоре» был эпизодический персонаж — немецкий офицер Альберт. Очень жестокий. И многие просили с ним романтическую ветку. Я её не собиралась включать. Потому что это не было бы похоже на саму Теодору. Но я не считаю, что у меня есть право высказывать людям: «Вы что, с ума сошли?
Он же плохой! Кто-то играет в «Клуб Романтики», чтобы развлечься. В формате интерактивной новеллы я не могу осуждать желание вести ветку с неоднозначными персонажами. К разговору о том, насколько этически правильно создавать таких персонажей и делать с ними романтические ветки: начнём с того, что «Клуб Романтики» — это всё-таки интерактивные новеллы. То есть у игрока всегда есть выбор, с каким персонажем начать отношения. А то, как они прописаны, на мой взгляд, затрагивает вопрос свободы творчества.
Автор хочет написать такого персонажа, но ему говорят, что такого нельзя писать. Где тогда свобода творчества? Наверно, каким-то компромиссом могут стать дисклеймеры, что мы не призываем к таким отношениям. Насколько я знаю, в «Клубе Романтики» уже стали делать такие предупреждения. Мы все стараемся быть деликатными. В новеллах перед сомнительными сценами триггер-ворнинги trigger warning — предупреждение, что произведение может вызвать негативные эмоции или воспоминания.
В общем, это сложный вопрос, потому что тут затрагивается свобода творчества, и это очень большая дискуссия. Как считаешь, почему «Клуб Романтики» стал популярным? Интерактивные новеллы — это интересно! Это же книга, которую ты читаешь, но в которой сама определяешь концовку. Я «Ведьмака» переигрывала два раза. Хотя он очень долгий.
Ну я люблю «Ведьмака», не будем врать. Но первый раз у меня получилась плохая концовка в игре. Я так не хотела, поэтому пошла переигрывать все сколько-то там часов, чтобы добиться хорошей концовки. Это как будто вызов. Ты как бы и выбор делаешь, и на реакции отвечаешь, ещё выбираешь, с кем роман крутить. Очень интересный вид медиа.
А если говорить именно о «Клубе Романтики», я бы сказала, что его выделяет большой акцент на сюжете. У нас только вариантов концовок 10—12 может быть. Конечно, «Клуб Романтики» без романтики — это не «Клуб Романтики», извиняюсь за тавтологию. Но я ценю то, что наши произведения — это именно произведения. Наши персонажи — это именно персонажи. Они ощущаются как настоящие.
Кто-то может сказать, что такие игры, как «Клуб Романтики», — это постыдное увлечение и зашквар. Есть те, кто любит делать выводы из ничего. Люди видят обложку с целующейся парой и сразу «о, ну понятно всё». А что понятно — непонятно. Во-первых, я считаю наши произведения достойными того, чтобы их читали. Моя «Теодора» вполне могла бы быть книгой.
Только не мы должны придумывать как сделать приложение лучше, для этого у них работают люди, отвечающие за возможности геймплея.

Про качество сценария и говорить как-то неловко, даже учитывая мои не слишком высокие ожидания. О каком серьёзном нарративе может идти речь, если за основу сюжета взяты настолько избитые истории, а персонажи выглядят так, будто вышли из телевизионной рекламы майонеза? А вот задники неожиданно удались. Так и хочется увидеть их в каком-нибудь point-and-click приключении Зато вторая группа новелл — настоящее комедийное золото. В них сценаристы срываются с цепи здравого смысла и ударяются в такой бред, что абсурд происходящего на экране почти завораживает. Написано это всё так же отвратительно, как и раньше, зато авторы явно постарались разбавить рутину нетипичным для мелодрам сеттингом. Космическая фантастика с вызывающе нелепой мужской версией Азари , истерически несуразная «Школа Ангелов и Демонов», абсолютно наглая калька со всех вампирских историй разом — чем более нелепой и претенциозной выглядит обложка новеллы, тем смешнее будет сюжет. События так быстро и бессвязно сменяют друг друга, что сливаются в сплошной поток чистой сценарной глупости, а сюжетные повороты и дыры словно пытаются переплюнуть друг друга. В общем, на выходе получается что-то достойное пера самого Томми Вайсо: читать такую литературу физически тяжело, но самых выносливых ждёт весьма специфическое вознаграждение. От игры под названием «Клуб Романтики» логично ждать особо тщательной проработки всего, что связано с любовными линиями, и в этом плане мои надежды сбылись. Романтика здесь вышла приторно слащавой. Внезапные душеизлияния, симпатия, взявшаяся из ниоткуда и пропавшая в никуда; иногда персонажи попросту забывают не только о пережитых наедине моментах, но даже о том, что они уже успели переспать. Если вы получаете удовольствие от кринжа, то передозировка запредельно неловких комплиментов вам понравится. Как ни странно, постельных сцен в игре тоже предостаточно, но стремиться к ним я настоятельно не советую. Если во время «обычных» романтических сцен есть риск насквозь пробить лоб ладонью, то от интима хочется убежать в глухой лес и никогда больше не смотреть другим людям в глаза. Человек, писавший эти моменты, либо ненавидел свою работу, либо обладал совсем уж поверхностным представлением о том, как функционируют живые люди. Помните «смешные» варианты ответов в Super Seducer?
